The Tankerman will safely load and unload tanks, barges, railcars, and various other drums.
Compliance with all DOT and USCG regulations is required. This position works a twelve-hour rotating shift –
days and nights.
Requirements: Continuous physical work. Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds independently and climb
steep stairs/ladders throughout the work shift. Duties include transfer, loading and unloading of chemicals
throughout the plant as well as the use of hand tools. Monitoring the loading process and completing all
required documentation associated with the shipment of the products. 2 years Tankerman experience (loading
and unloading of barges & railcars) or possess valid current MMD unrestricted Tankerman’ s license—PIC
(Barge) Dangerous Liquids and Liquefied Hazardous gas through USCG preferred.
